FAVORA · LEGAL
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how FAVORA handles personal data when you use our websites, accounts, products, services, and related support channels.
Last updated: 1 September 2026
1. Information we collect
We may collect account and profile information, organization or tenant membership, authentication and security records, subscription and transaction references, service usage and technical logs, support requests, and information you choose to provide through forms or product workflows.
2. How we use information
We use personal data to create and secure accounts, authenticate users, provide licensed services, process and verify transactions, manage subscriptions and entitlements, operate tenant and organization access, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain audit trails, improve reliability, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Essential and optional data
Data strictly necessary for authentication, security, service delivery, billing, fraud prevention, and legal compliance is processed as essential data. Optional analytics, personalization, or external data-sharing features are enabled only when you have provided the required consent. Where preference controls are available, you can reopen them and change optional choices later.
4. Payments
Payment processing may be performed by an authorized payment provider. FAVORA may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, amount, currency, and verification results. We do not treat a browser redirect as proof of payment; payment status is verified through the relevant payment workflow.
5. Organizations and institutions
If your account is provided through a university, school, company, government entity, healthcare organization, or other institution, that organization may manage your membership, assigned roles, licensed products, and organization-specific records according to its authority and applicable agreements.
6. Sharing of information
We may share the minimum information required with service providers that support hosting, security, communications, payments, identity, and product operations; with your organization where the service is organization-managed; or when required by applicable law. We do not sell personal information.
7. International and third-party services
Some FAVORA products may connect to third-party services or infrastructure. When a feature requires an external provider, the relevant data exchange is limited to what is needed for that feature and is subject to the provider's terms and privacy practices.
8. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, preserve security and audit records, meet contractual or legal requirements, resolve disputes, and maintain legitimate business records. Retention periods may vary by data category and product.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including access controls, least-privilege permissions, credential protection, tenant isolation, secure transport, audit logging, and monitoring. No system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other handling of your personal data. Optional consent can be withdrawn where applicable without disabling data processing that is essential to provide the service or meet legal obligations.
11. Children and supervised use
FAVORA products intended for schools, education, or supervised users may be provided through an authorized institution or responsible account holder. Such deployments may be subject to additional institution-specific controls and notices.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. Material updates will be reflected on this page. Privacy questions or requests can be submitted through the FAVORA contact page.
